After some hectic days and a trip to the beach I finally get something done. Well it was a quick sketch with even quickier colours but fun after all those days without drawing. I liked the cartoon feeling of it, and I’m thinking on finishing this one later.
This is a design for one of the characters from the book I’m working on. It’s something to do with Race, other than that I’ll keep the mistery now that the book is going well. I’ll post details and some previews here. This one was done in 90 minutes, lot’s of fun! Markers and color pencils over it. And the good’old photoshop.
One more done in 90 minutes. I went a little more cartoon than I usually do, so I had more time to play on photoshop with colors and mood. Hope to do another one tomorrow.
It’s back, the 90 minutes drawing is back, hoppefully more consistent. Ghost Rider this time, and I had some extra minutes to throw some colours and the old good colour holds on photoshop.
So as I said a post before, here it is a brand new one 90 minute drawing. This one wasn’t exactly 90 minutes, maybe a 120, but I have to find a balance. Come on, that’s only my second try.
I got a ride on an idea from an artist named Eric Canete. You can check his blog under my “blogs area”. His work is great and inspiring! He produces sketches in 90 minutes, almost every day or so. I’ll take that idea and work in one black and white piece everyday, as a warm up. I believe not only I’ll study and develope my own style, but I’ll come up with a finish piece every day. I hope I can put some “quality” to it, but the idea is to explore and try things out of my head, in 90 minutes. I did this one last night, when I decided to go for it. So today I’ll post the monday one, as soon as finish. Hope you (whoever you are) enjoy!
